Manila MRT: LRT 3

So I'm not yet done with Manila posts. Yes. Today, I'm gonna share my experience riding the LRT.

For those of you wondering what LRT means, it stands for Light Rail Transit. There are several LRT stations in Manila as this is one of their means of transportation there.

So when we arrived at NAIA, my cousin accompanied us. Our plan was to take a taxi really but then my cousin told us that it's better if we take the jeepney and then LRT. Okay.. We don't have a choice really, we were all first timers in Manila. haha

After paying our fare, they give us a card which we will be using in checking in and out the train. Good thing it wasn't a rush hour when we boarded the train or else all of us will be standing for about 20 minutes. haha

We took the Yellow Line (Line 3) which is from Taft Avenue to North Avenue.

Here's the list of the stations that you're going to pass through:

2. Magallanes

3. Ayala

4. Buendia

5. Guadalupe

6. Boni

7. Shaw Boulevard

8. Ortigas

9. Santolan

10. Cubao

11. Kamuning

12. Quezon Avenue

13. North Avenue

We stopped at Quezon Avenue and rode a jeepney to our destination. It was a fun trip indeed! :P 

J CO Donuts & Coffee

Who's crazy about donuts? Well, I'm not really that crazy but if that's from J Co Donuts, then I'll happily line up and wait in the queue! :D

When we went to Manila 2 weeks ago and then went to SM Mall of Asia, the first thing that I searched for was the location of J. Co Donuts. It feels like how many years have passed and J Co in SM City Cebu hasn't opened yet! When will they really open huh??

So in the mean time, I grabbed the opportunity to personally buy these precious donuts! teehee ;) Some people are wondering, what's with this brand of donuts. Well, let me tell you this.. compared to K***** K**** donuts :P, J Co Donuts aren't that sweet. It's perfect for people who aren't really into sweets.

There are a variety of flavors you can choose from-- from Green Tease, Coco Loco, Choco Caviar Chocolate, Choco Caviar Strawberry and many more! But my personal favorite is their most wanted donut and it's none other than Alcapone! With it's rich begian white chocolate topped with roasted almonds, it's definitely a hit!

And so--- Tadaaaaa! I bought half a dozen which costs P240.00 and these 24 cute J. Pops Baby Donuts for P250.00. Happy me! ^_^

I just wish that J. Co in SM will open already so that whenever I want to devour these donuts, it's only a jeepney away!

Exploring Mall of Asia (MOA)

Last July 26, 2014, my friends and I went to Manila to attend the centennial celebration of the church. After the event, we had a day left to spare and so we decided to go to SM Mall of Asia.

SM Mall of Asia is dubbed as the second largest mall in the country so I was very excited to see it!

I really wasn't able to take a lot of pictures at that time because I was busy walking and looking at the stores. haha. It was really tiring and to think it was still early (or not really) in the morning.

We checked out the skating rink and we were giddily excited to try but then we don't have enough time for it. Sayang naman ang P300.00 na unlimited noh. -_- Better luck next time! We also strolled along Ocean Drive. Too bad the rides aren't opened yet.

We were also caught off guard when the boys went inside Bench Pinoy Lab coz they were having a sale at that time! They were soooo excited and eventually bought some shirts/polo shirts. Of course, the girls also did. haha

It was past 12 noon already and the group decided to have a quick lunch at Mang Inasal. We met a lot of brethren there too. After lunch, we went to J. Co-- and I was like a little kid so happy to see the store! I've been craving for J. Co and SM City Cebu hasn't opened their branch there yet. -__- So when we arrived at the place, I immediately went in and waited for my turn to be served! :D

At 3:00 pm. we boarded a taxi and went to the airport. Goodbye Manila! Thanks for the time!
